The Barley Home is comfort food as interior design: barley-beige walls, oatmeal sofas, honey oak and butter-soft lighting. Nothing performs; everything welcomes. It is deliberately the opposite of a showroom.

Practicality hides in plain sight — washable fabrics, rounded corners, a mudroom bench at the entry and deep drawers instead of low cabinets. Evening scenes settle the home into lamplight automatically. The scheme guests describe with one word: cosy.
